SHIPPING OPTIONS & SHIPPING TIMES:

05/01/2020 COVID-19 UPDATE
Due to the Corona Virus, everything in almost every industry has slowed down, including production times, processing times and delivery times.  Due to the current lack of flights, international shipping is delayed and the pricing has increased.  You, our customer, are VERY important to us.  We are striving to continue to serve you, but shipping times are slightly delayed by a day or two.  This is a result of us still having a few people working remotely as well as slower fulfillment times from our vendors and delays in the postal and UPS delivery times.  As soon as your order is processed through our shipping department, you will receive an email update along with your tracking number.  Please give us a few extra days before calling or messaging us about a tracking number.  We have had a rash of calls/messages/emails asking for tracking numbers on orders that were barely placed within the last 48-hours.  This slows us down tremendously, so please be patient while we process your order.  As always, the AVS FAMILY thanks you for your business and your patience during this pandemic.  Take care, be safe and we will all get through this trying time. 

Q:  When will my order ship?
A:  Usually within 24 BUSINESS HOURS, but, it matters when you placed your order.  If you placed your order online after 3:00pm PST (we are in California) then your order may not be processed and sent to our shipping department until the following business day.  We process orders in the order that we receive them.  Business days are considered Monday - Friday as we are closed on the weekends.  If you placed your order on Friday after 3:00pm PST, there's a good chance that it will not be processed until Monday morning, then ship out on Tuesday.
PLEASE NOTE - due to fluctuations in online orders, some times/days are busier than others but we try our best to ship out your order within 24-48 business hours.  But, we can not promise that this will happen every time.  If you absolutely need your order to reach you on a certain day, we strongly suggest that you call in your order and speak to one of our sales reps so they can assist you with a guaranteed shipping option such as UPS NEXT DAY AIR, UPS 2ND DAY, etc. Otherwise, orders will be processed in the order received.  


Q:  How long does it take for me to receive my order?
A:  It all depends on when you ordered it (please see above FAQ) and where the order is shipping to, as well as what carrier is delivering it.  Normal time for an order to be processed and shipped is usually 24-48 business hours on top of the actual delivery time.  Delivery times will vary between carriers and destinations.  Here are some examples:
UPS Ground - Delivery should be 1 to 7 days after processing.  In most parts of California, you would receive it the next day.  Nevada/Arizona is usually 2 days.  Texas 3-4 days and usually 7 days if you are on the East Coast.
USPS First Class - What the USPS website states and what it actually takes are two different things.  Unless you are VERY patient and do not mind waiting up to a couple of weeks, we strongly do not recommend using this shipping method.  You have been warned!!!
USPS Priority - Delivery should be 1 to 3 days after processing.  In most parts of California, you would receive it the next day.  Nevada/Arizona/Texas is usually 2 days.  It will take 3 days if you are on the East Coast. 
 

Q:  Can I have my order expedited?
A:  You may choose UPS 3-day, 2-day or Next Day Air at a premium price.  We will process these orders before regular ground orders.  If you do not receive your order in the time that it was suppose to be delivered, you can apply for a full refund through UPS.  Contact us for more info.
PLEASE NOTE:  If any item in your cart is marked FREE SHIPPING, DO NOT PLACE YOUR ORDER ONLINE!!!  The FREE SHIPPING items in the cart will not be calculated right, so our site will give you the wrong total.  Instead, please call us to place your order so that we can get you a discounted rate on your expedited shipping.  

Q:  Your listing says that an item is a SPECIAL ORDER.  What does this mean?
A:  Most parts from the following companies are considered "SPECIAL ORDERS".

CHOPPIN' BLOCK
Some control arms are in stock, but other items are usually built in 4-6 weeks, BUT, production time is not guaranteed.  Either way, parts will ship directly from AVS.

GSI
These kits are built to order and usually ship in 4-6 weeks, BUT, production time is not guaranteed.  These kits ship directly from the manufacturer.

KP COMPONENTS
These kits are built to order and usually ship in 2-4 weeks, BUT, production time is not guaranteed.  These kits ship directly from the manufacturer.

ONE PIECE WINDOW GLASS
These kits are built to order and usually ship in 4-6 weeks, BUT, production time is not guaranteed.  These kits ship directly from the manufacturer.  

PORTERBUILT
Hood hinges are usually in stock in our warehouse ready to ship.  Other PB items are built to order and usually ship in around 1 to 12 weeks, BUT, production time is not guaranteed.  These parts will ship directly from the manufacturer.
