These Heavy-Duty rubber door jam wire boots are ideal for hiding and protecting all those unsightly wires. The ends of the boots will mate up to a 1-inch hole. If you have to drill holes, we highly recommend using a 1-inch hole-saw specifically made for cutting metal. Some doors/jambs may have up to two or three layers of sheet metal, so a hole-saw works better so it doesn't "walk" on you once you get past the first layer or two.
